From the Clarins Website, this serum for all skin types is described as:
Powered by 20 pure plant extracts and potent, high-tech molecules—Double Serum’s innovative, dual chamber system combines two age-defying formulas into one groundbreaking serum that reactivates skin’s vital functions. The result: visibly firmer skin, visibly reduced wrinkles, a more even skin tone and less visible pores in just 4 weeks.
Despite really enjoying the Clarin's brand, I didn't have high expectations of this product. It didn't seem like a very elegant formulation and I find dual-phase products gimmicky. I had a sample, though, so I gave it a try.
Clarin's Double Serum is unfragranced (not the norm for Clarins products!) and the first time I pumped it into my palm, it looked like a puddle of oil and water...which really wasn't very appealing, to be honest. But, it mixed nicely in my hands and felt amazing as I pressed it onto my skin. It massaged in quickly and left a nice texture without feeling like there was a film left over. When I woke up, my skin was glowing. I already use AHA and BHAs, so it's pretty rare to use something that has this effect on my skin. For the next week, my skin looked more hydrated and my eyes looked better rested. By the end of the first week, my skin looked absolutely radiant.
